My office is at Advanced Water Treatment, Downham Market in East Anglia and today (22/06/2011) we are experiencing some serious downpours! This got me thinking... Why don’t more people take advantage of the water that falls freely from the skies?!?
Did you know for example that 30% of treated mains water is used to flush toilets, this is drinking quality water that people have paid for, used to flush their loos! Rainwater Harvesting could save all this water!
OFWAT have announced water rates will rise above the rate of inflation for 2011/12, up to 8% in some areas! Water is expensive and it’s getting more so!
