Multi Media Filters are a backwashable filter for the removal of suspended solids from water. The multi media filter backwashes on either a timed basis or can accept an external signal to initiate regeneration. Backwashing of the Multi Medai Filter to drain allows the removal of the suspended solids from the filter.
